Elizabeth Doherty Yingling, M.A.
Art Therapist Elizabeth Doherty Yingling is an artist and art therapist currently living and working in the metropolitan Washington, DC area. She is a native of New York City, having received her B.A. in Art from the City University of New York (CUNY) at Brooklyn College, with a minor in Psychology. She received her Master's degree in Art Therapy from The George Washington University. Elizabeth is a member of the American Art Therapy Association (AATA), as well as the Potomac Art Therapy Association (PATA). She has worked with many different populations, helping clients to process a wide variety of issues, such as depression, loss and grief, major life transitions, self-empowerment, medical illness, dementia (Alzheimer's), foster care issues, trauma, physical and emotional abuse, and self-injurious behaviors.
